GEARBOX today has finally revealed the news that many of us have been expecting and waiting to hear for some time now with the official Borderlands 3 announcement trailer which shows that the game may be much closer to completion than one would expect.

The Borderlands 3 announcement trailer runs for a lengthy four minutes, showing an immersive world full of new baddies, weapons, vehicles, explosions, and everything we’ve loved from the previous Borderlands games. It’s been nearly five long years since we last enjoyed a new Borderlands game in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, and a whopping seven years since Borderlands 2.
