Borderlands 3 Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC Revealed

We’re now coming up on a year since Borderlands 3 released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back on September 13th last year. While the initial release had some rough edges, the game has seen some fantastic support from Gearbox Software with plenty of patches and DLC released for the game. The latest Boderlands 3 DLC sees the return of our favourite Psycho from Borderlands 2 in Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.

Releasing in just a couple of weeks, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck delves into Krieg’s mind and the damaged psyche of a Borderlands Psycho. Scientist Patricia Tannis believes that Psychos have been driven mad with knowledge of a mythical place she calls ‘Vaulthalla’ and so she sends you deep into Krieg’s chaotic mind in search of clues.

What will we be doing while in the psyche of a deranged Psycho? Well, we’ll be journeying through the demented vistas of his mind, with violence likely around every corner. We’ll see Krieg’s perception of the world around him, including characters like Maya while overcoming manifestations of his manic thoughts. We’ll also get a bunch of Legendary weapons and gear, as well as a whole lot of cosmetics including Vault Hunter Heads and Skins, because what would a Borderlands 3 DLC be if it didn’t have heaps of loot?

Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck will release on September 10 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is included in the Borderlands 3 Seasons Pass, so get ready to wipe out some mental demons soon. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse at the DLC ahead of its release, while you can also get some more information over at the game’s official website.
