For a game that already had plenty of content at release, Gearbox and 2K Games have kept the train running with Borderlands 3. Following a full season pass (including Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck) and plenty of free updates (including free next-gen updates), the gang is continuing to release new content with today’s release of the Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut.

As reported back in February, Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut Add-on is part of the second season of DLC for the game and brings a bunch of new content with it. The biggest of this is the new raid boss Hemovorous the Invincible, a colossal Varkid, as well as a new murder mystery. It also includes the first of three Vault Cards, whose challenges will allow you to access the recently announced Diamond Armory.

Releasing at the same time as Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut are three new cosmetic packs for owners of Season Pass 2 or Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition. The Disciples of the Vault cosmetic packs are also available for purchase separately and are Children of the Vault themed cosmetics for each of the main characters you can play as.

There are also two new machines that have been added to the base game: Crazy Earl’s Rer0oll, which replaces the existing Anointment on an item for Eridium, and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, which offers Legendary loot and will be hidden in a new location each week.
