Tales from the Borderlands

Once upon a time, Telltale Games was one of the most prolific developers in the business. They dropped games like nobody else, but were eventually forced to close after a number of games that were commercial failures. During that run of games, one in particular came as a massive surprise: Tales from the Borderlands. A fantastic Borderlands story that made the most of Telltale’s storytelling nous, Tales from the Borderlands is now coming to Nintendo Switch.

Tales from the Borderlands follows series newcomers Rhys and Fiona, two unlikely companions who find themselves teaming up after their attempt to find a Vault Key goes bad. The game features plenty of the humour you expect from a Borderlands game, but tempered in a way that removed some of the lower notes of past games in the series. It was an interesting take on the franchise, with some characters later appearing in Borderlands 3, which was lost to time after the closure of Telltale Games caused it to be delisted. Now Tales from the Borderlands, originally released in an episodic format, will be available for new players to experience on Nintendo Switch.

Tales from the Borderlands releases for Nintendo Switch on March 24, and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information, check the official website.
