Xbox Announces Next-Gen News Beat Xbox 20/20

May 6, 2020

With the announcement of a next generation showcase occurring this week, and the confirmation that it would focus solely on third party titles developed by global development studios, we were left wondering when we would hear more about Xbox’s own first party titles that will be coming to the Xbox Series X. Well, we don’t have to wonder any longer, with the announcement of Xbox 20/20.

Xbox 20/20 will be a monthly news beat, commencing with this week’s Inside Xbox episode, that will give us news, trailers and information in the lead up to the launch of Xbox’s next-generation hardware the Xbox Series X. So we shouldn’t expect to go too long at any one point without getting an update on the Xbox Series X.

Along with this Friday’s Inside Xbox, we also received confirmation on another event occurring in July, which will focus on titles coming from Xbox Game Studios. With confirmation that all fifteen of those studios are working on titles for Xbox Series X, we could see some great announcements at that event, along with further looks at titles such as Halo Infinite, Rare’s Everwild and Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga. There is no confirmation on what we’ll see in June, so we’re currently unsure if an Xbox presentation will occur around what would have been the timeframe for E3.

If you’re itching for next-gen news, tune in to Inside Xbox at 1am AEST this Friday at the below channels:
