Shoot Many Robots Is Coming To PC

March 28, 2012

Now that Demiurge’s new game has had a release on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store, Shoot Many Robots is making the jump to PC. The game will be available to download from Steam on the 6th of April. The game’s publisher, Ubisoft, are calling the game their “beer-fueled run-and-gun co-op romp”. To celebrate the Steam version’s launch, there will be some nice bonuses for those who pre-order the game. The list includes:

  • A “pre-order three copies, get one free” offer.
  • Special gear which will allow you to play as Gordon Freeman from Half-Life.
  • The infamous turrets from Portal will replace some of the regular enemies.
  • A special backpack for Team Fortress 2, called the Chopper Bot (usable by the Pyro and Medic classes).

The PC version will feature upgraded graphics, being displayed at a max resolution of 2560×1600, all while running at 60 frames per second. As the game’s name implies, Shoot Many Robots is a side-scrolling shooter where you blast your way through tonnes of robots. The game features online multiplayer for up to four players. You can buy it for $13 on the PlayStation Store, or 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Marketplace.
