Outriders Is Coming To Console/Cloud Game Pass

March 16, 2021

The battle for wins in the video game landscape has been heating up with the start of the new generation. PlayStation secured some big timed exclusive games from Bethesda and Square Enix, Xbox got theirs hands on The Medium, and both have secured a number of timed exclusive indie games as well. Now, Xbox are continuing the next step in their strategy, claiming another big day one Game Pass release in Outriders.

For those out of the loop, Outriders is a brand new third person shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix. Think of it as a futuristic version of The Division, but with techno-magic abilities and all of the game’s content available upfront. With a release spanning basically all consoles, combined with full cross play and now an incredibly cheap way to jump in with Game Pass, expect there to be plenty of people to play with in Outriders. The one disappointment here is that the Game Pass release doesn’t cover the PC version of the game.

Outriders releases on April 1st for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with access to the latter two versions and the cloud streaming version available via Game Pass. For more information, check the official website.
