GTA V is Coming Back to Xbox Game Pass

April 8, 2021

Game Pass

There’s no doubt at all that Game Pass has quickly become the best value proposition in gaming. With day and date releases from first and third parties alike, such as Outriders and MLB The Show 21, the Netflix-like service is kicking goals. Now, goals continue to be kicked, with the return of GTA V to Xbox Game Pass.

While GTA V isn’t the only game dropping on Xbox Game Pass this month, it’s definitely the most high profile. With over 140 million copies sold, GTA V is nothing short of a behemoth of sales, only trailing Minecraft. After a brief foray on the service a couple of years ago, it is returning once again. Unfortunately, PC gamers miss out, with PC Game Pass not supported.

Alongside GTA V there are a number of other games dropping on Xbox and PC Game Pass this month, including the massive inclusion of MLB The Show 21, with the full list below for your perusal:

  • Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud and Console) – April 8
  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War (Cloud, Console and PC) ID@Xbox – April 8
  • Disneyland Adventures (Could) – April 8
  • Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (Cloud) – April 8
  • NHL 21 (Console) EA Play – April 12
  • Rain on Your Parade (Cloud, Console and PC) ID@Xbox – April 15
  • Pathway (PC) ID@Xbox – April 15
  • MLB The Show 21 (Cloud and Console) – April 2
