Ever since Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced as E3 2014 it was known that it was a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but nobody knew for how long.

Square-Enix has announced via a blog post that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming to Steam and Windows 10 in early 2016. PlayStation 4 owners have a while longer to wait, with the PlayStation 4 release coming in Holiday 2016.

It’s reasonable to expect that the PlayStation 4 release of Rise of the Tomb Raider will potentially include extra content, but we won’t know about that until closer to its release. Stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for any further information.
