Announced during last year’s Game Awards with an onstage intro from Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, we’ve long known about Fast & Furious Crossroads, but haven’t known exactly when it would release. Developed by Slightly Mad Studios (creators of the Project CARS series and noted racing game developers) the game has some obvious pedigree and talent behind it.  With the release date initially confirmed as May 2020, we’ve now gotten confirmation with 3 days left in the month that the game has been delayed out of it and will instead release on August 7th.

A brand new gameplay trailer has been released alongside the release date announcement, showcasing some of the action you can expect when you jump into the game’s story mode in August. Fast & Furious Crossroads follows Dom (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) in a brand-new adventure that will take them to a range of locations across the world, including Athens, Barcelona and Morocco. The team-based, vehicular action game takes inspiration from its source material, expanding the Fast & Furious universe into games.

Fast & Furious Crossroads releases for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 7th, 2020. Check out the official website for more information.
