New Release Dates Announced For The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima

It was only a month ago that PlayStation and Naughty Dog announced that The Last Of Us Part II was being delayed from its original release date of 29/05/2020, but after masses of spoilers made their way onto the internet, we’ve already had a new release date confirmed. You’ll now get to experience Ellie’s latest story on 19/06/2020, a week before Ghost of Tsushima was planned to release.

Now, no matter the situation, that’s a super short period of time between two massive AAA first party games. Not to worry though, because Ghost of Tsushima has now also been delayed. Develop Sucker Punch have stated that the transition to remote and flexible working in light of COVID-19 means they’ll need just a little bit longer to get the game finished up. You’ll now be able to take to feudal Japan on 17/07/2020.

Both The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima are releasing exclusively on PlayStation 4. Check out these gameplay trailers for each game below.
