Ghost of Tsushima State of Play

As we creep closer and closer towards the next generation of console hardware and can be easy to lose sight of the games that are releasing on current generations of hardware. There are still some amazing looking games coming, and PlayStation wants to make sure that you don’t forget about their upcoming games as more news about the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X flood our feeds. To help with this, PlayStation have announced a special State of Play for later this week that will focus solely on Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch’s upcoming new IP.

Ghost of Tsushima follows samurai Jin Sakai during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in the 13th century. As his Jin’s world crumbles around him he must decide whether to stay true to his honour as a samurai or do whatever it takes to protect his world from the invading horde. We’ve already seen some gameplay demos of the stealth action game before, but it’s been some time since we’ve had a look at the game. With the promise of at least 18 minutes of gameplay, including exploration and combat, we’re sure to get a decent look at how the project has progressed in recent times.

If you’re looking to watch the Ghost of Tsushima State of Play live than you’ll need to jump online at 6AM AEST this Friday and head over to the official PlayStation Youtube or Twitch pages to watch.

Ghost of Tsushima releases exclusively for PlayStation 4 on July 17th.
