Xbox Live Games with Gold October 2019 freebies announced

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has announced October 2019’s Games with Gold freebies.

For Xbox One, Tembo the Badass Elephant will be available to download for the entire month and Friday the 13th: The Game will be available 16th October to 15th November. For Xbox 360, Bolt will be available from 1-15 October and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be available from 16-31 October.

Tembo the Badass Elephant is 2D side scrolling platformer by Game Freak. In the game players control Tembo, an elephant who must rescue Shell City from the evil invading Phantom army. Tembo can charge and smash through structures and objects, as well as use his trunk to douse flames with water.

Friday the 13th: The Game is based on the popular horror franchise of the same name. It’s predominantly a multiplayer game where up to seven players take on the role of campers trying to escape Crystal Lake while one players takes on the role of Jason and tries to kill them all. The campers can lay traps for Jason while working together to find an escape route. In single player you play as Jason in 10 different scenarios.

Bolt is based on the 2008 film of the same name by Disney. It’s an adventure game where players control the superdog Bolt and Penny, completing various missions where each character has their own abilities to navigate the levels.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden 3, featuring all downloadable content from the original title, improved combat and better overall gameplay balance. The game sees ninja Ryu being recruited to rescue the British Prime Minister and his family, who are being held hostage by an unknown terrorist faction. You can expect plenty of the series’ trademark gore and ninja action.
