Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has announced September 2019’s Games with Gold freebies.
For Xbox One, Hitman Season 1 will be available to download for the entire month while We Were Here will be available 16th September to 15th October. For Xbox 360, Earth Defense Force 2025 will be available from 1 September to 15 September and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available from 16 September to 30 September.
Hitman: Season 1 was released in episodic format throughout 2017 and was a soft reboot for the Hitman franchise. Players will navigate through various sandbox environments while on the hunt for assassination targets. Locations include a French mansion, a little Italian town named Sapienza and a Japanese spa retreat in Hokkaido. After completing missions you can return to the environment to try different assassination methods on targets or complete online challenges created by other players.
We Were Here is a co-op puzzle game that can be played with a friend or a random player online. Both players are trapped in a castle and must work together to escape, armed only with their walkie talkies, wits and voice.
In Earth Defense Force 2025 it has been eight years since the last invasion of Earth, but now the aliens are back stronger than ever before. Players will have hundreds of weapons at their disposal to fight back the threat, as well as four different character classes to choose from.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the eighth main entry of the Tekken franchise and was released in 2011 in Japanese arcades and 2012 on consoles. In the game players must select two fighters to fight with and can switch between them throughout the battle. The resting character will have the opportunity to regain some health and there are also tag combos and combined moves to help you best your opponents.
