Known for the Zeno Clash and Rock of Ages series, Ace Team have become a well known and well regarded developer over the years. While we’ve known for a while that they were working on a new game, but we hadn’t seen enough of it yet. That’s all changed now, with a new gameplay trailer showing off exactly what we can expect from The Eternal Cylinder.

The Eternal Cylinder is unique open-world survival game, where you control a herd of small creatures in a alien word. All life on this surreal world needs to worry about and contend with the Cylinder. The Cylinder is a massive alien structure that rolls around the world squishing everything in sight. With real-time environmental destruction, puzzles and plenty of deadly predators, you’ll need your wits about you to survive.

You’ll start at the bottom of the food chain, evolving to adapt and overcome obstacles. Stacking mutations allow for a big variety of emergent combos, with all playthroughs expected to be different. Expect some unexpected things to come from your combinations of skills, creature designs and gameplay choices.
