Don’t Forget The Crew 2 Open Beta This Weekend

June 18, 2018

With the hustle of E3 2018 coming to an end, it’s good to get back in to the grunt of things and although there have been some amazing sales on all four major platforms (Overcooked on Switch is a great choice in case you’re wondering), we can’t forget about The Crew 2 Open Beta. Running from June 21 to June 25, players can test out The Crew 2 Open Beta on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Chances are the open beta is going to be identical to the closed beta in terms of what’s available, but we’re hoping there’s been a patch between then and now as there were some underlying issues that we found when testing out the closed beta. Read Rocket Chainsaw’s comprehensive The Crew 2 closed beta impressions article where we tested and compared the game on a high-end PC and a standard Xbox One console.

Head to the official The Crew 2 Open Beta sign-up page link to get access to the beta on the platform(s) of your choice.

The Crew 2 Open Beta

This time around, Rocket Chainsaw intends to go hands-on with The Crew 2 open beta on the two 4K consoles: PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. We’re hoping for some better draw distances and faster transitions between vehicles. It will also be interesting to see if Ivory Tower has addressed the bouncy collision physics.

Don’t forget, there’s still time to unlock a whopping nineteen free vehicles in The Crew 2 by completing challenges in The Crew. Head to this official page to find out more about how to claim your 19 vehicles!

The Crew 2 launches on 29 June, 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms. Make sure to check back at Rocket Chainsaw for our full review at the end of the month. For more information on The Crew 2 beta, head to the official website here.
