Rocket League 2nd Anniversary Update Details

June 5, 2017

Next month will mark two years since Rocket League raced on to the online gaming scene and forever cemented its place among other popular titles as a serious competitor with a very large active community. 30,000,000 accounts later, and we’re now about to celebrate Rocket League’s 2nd anniversary. Psyonix has announced a whole new arena, two new vehicles, and more planned for the update which will hit on July 5th, 2017.

The free new arena titled Champions Field looks amazing in the trailer below, and the “import battle” vehicles appear somewhat unique compared to what we already have access to. New achievements and trophies, and Season 5 will commence. There will also be new trails for the vehicles, engine sounds, 18 new songs added to the playlist, and best of all the introduction of goal explosions; massive firework displays will go off inside the actual goal when a goal is scored.
