Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Date is December, Says Aussie Retailer

September 21, 2020

GORILLA GAMING, a new Australian storefront from popular New Zealand online retailer Mighty Ape has possibly leaked the Rainbow Six Quarantine release date, putting the game’s launch at a week before christmas, on December 18th, 2020.

The Rainbow Six Quarantine PlayStation 5 listing is showing the specific date, while all other listings for the game on the Gorilla Gaming website show September 30, which we believe to be a Q3 placeholder.

While it’s all just speculation at this stage, Ubisoft has kept fans in the dark about a possible Rainbow Six Quarantine release date, instead focusing on their other AAA titles such as Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Far Cry 6 and the newly revealed spiritual successor of Steep, Riders Republic.

Developed by a new dedicated team at Ubisoft Montreal, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine is set several years in the future of the Rainbow Six Universe. The Rainbow Operators will face off against a totally new breed of mutated alien parasite infecting human hosts and their surroundings. Set in 3-player coop PVE, players can prepare to launch into tense, chaotic and totally unpredictable missions as they will risk everything with their squad, every time they step into quarantine.

When Rainbow Six Quarantine does launch, it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For more information, head to the official website.
