Ubisoft Announces Digital Conference Ubisoft Forward

May 12, 2020

E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward

As we get closure to the date that E3 2020 and its massive press conference would have occurred, the more apparent it becomes that publishers are pulling away from June and their traditional press conferences. We’ve already had one showcase from Xbox and will have another in July, while Nintendo are reportedly also moving away from a June Nintendo Direct and Bethesda have officially confirmed they won’t hold a press conference. Now, we have confirmation that Ubisoft is also moving away from the month of June with the announcement of Ubisoft Forward.

You can think of Ubisoft Forward as that same press conference we would normally see from Ubisoft, just pushed back to July and totally digital. While we don’t know any specifics about what games will be shown at Ubisoft Forward, it’s safe to say that we’ll likely see updates on the slate of games they delayed late last year (Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods and Monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine), as well as an update on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and surely plenty of brand new game announcements as we come up the start of the next console generation. Hey, maybe we’ll even get an update on Beyond Good and Evil 2 or Massive’s long in development Avatar game.

Either way, we’ll find out more on July 13th at 5am AEST. Stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for more coverage closer to the date.
