E3 2017: Two larger collectors editions to be revealed for Far Cry 5 at Ubisoft press conference

June 12, 2017

Ubisoft are putting the final touches on their press conference scheduled to begin at 6AM Australian Eastern Standard Time tomorrow morning, and while they are getting ready we can confirm that they plan to announce two different collectors editions to go alongside the existing Standard, Deluxe and Gold editions.

What these editions include currently remains a mystery, however if past games are anything to go by we can expect some cool loot, as well as items that are already included in the Deluxe and Gold such as a physical map, soundtrack, season pass, and additional digital content.

The collectors edition information can be found on the official Ubisoft Store, blacked out with the message “Stay tuned in june at E3”, and they definitely appear to be larger boxed editions, with one available exclusively on the Ubisoft Store. Often the Ubisoft Store exclusive involves a limited edition figurine that sells out quickly.

Far Cry 5 did not appear in today’s E3 2017 Microsoft Xbox press conference, but we expect to see a good few minutes of gameplay in the Ubisoft press conference tomorrow.

Far Cry 5 is currently scheduled to release on February 27, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
