Monster Hunter XX announced for Switch

At a Monster Hunter Championship event in Japan, Capcom has made the surprise announcement that Monster Hunter XX will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Originally announced in October 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter XX is an enhanced version of Monster Hunter Generations (Monster Hunter X in Japan). It features a new G Rank (along with level-appropriate gear and difficulty) , a new hub set on a village floating on balloons, and two new flagship and two returning monsters. The game was released in Japan in March this year, but so far a Western release has not been confirmed. Perhaps this will change for the Switch version?
