Minecraft Dungeons Is Getting Cross-Play Support

Minecraft Dungeons cross-playYears after it’s original release as an alpha and eventual full release, Minecraft still remains one of the most popular games of al time. Now, with official dungeon crawler Minecraft Dungeons out, I’ve wondered when I would be able to play it with friends on any system. Now, Mojang has confirmed that Minecraft Dungeons will be receiving cross-play support in the near future.

Announced as part of Minecraft Livethe news that the game is receiving cross-play support is massive. Minecraft Dungeons cross-play update will allow players across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and XCloud  to dungeoneer and loot with their friends to their hearts content, regardless of the platform they own the game on. It was also confirmed that the game will continue to receive DLC over the coming year, with Howling Peaks set to release in December.

We don’t have an exact date for when Minecraft Dungeons will receive the update to allow cross-play support, but stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for all the news as it comes.
