Sony have confirmed (via Joystiq) that the highly anticipated PlayStation Vita game Gravity Rush will be receiving the demo treatment on the 30th of May in Australia. The full game is set for a local release on the 14th of June, so you’ll have a couple of weeks to mess around with the demo and see what you think. Gravity Rush puts players in the shoes of Kat, a strong-willed girl looking for a way to protect her future, in a world that’s crumbling around her. The game makes heavy use of the PS Vita’s tilt sensing functionality, and allows players to twist the game’s environments around, all the while manipulating gravity to move Kat through the world. The game features graphic novel-style cutscenes which help to illustrate the story. Gravity Rush has a striking graphical style, which you can see in the screenshots below:
