Gravity Rush 2 demo and anime dated

December 22, 2016

Sony has announced that a demo for Gravity Rush 2 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store at 6pm GMT on 22 December (or 5am AEDT on 23 December for those living in Sydney and Melbourne).

The demo will have two paths– one is for newcomers to the franchise and the other is for those who are already familiar with Kat’s powers. Nick Accordino, associate project manager on Gravity Rush 2, confirmed that the demo is the same one that was featured at this year’s E3 Expo.

In case that isn’t enough to satisfy your need to defy gravity, Sony also confirmed that the Gravity Rush Overture anime will be released on the PlayStation YouTube Channel on 26th December from 4pm (presumably GMT, meaning it will be 3am AEDT, 27 December for Aussies). The anime is by Studio Khara and bridges the story gap between the original Gravity Rush and its sequel.

Gravity Rush 2 is scheduled to be released on 18 January 2017. You can check out Adam’s hands-on preview from E3 by clicking here.
