Ghostlight Are Bringing Devil Survivor To PAL Regions

April 22, 2012

Ghostlight, well known in Europe for publishing JRPGs which were previously only made available in the U.S, are bringing two new games to PAL gamers. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for Nintendo 3DS, and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 for Nintendo DS will be released later this year in Europe, with a local release likely. Both games are part of  Atlus’ long running Shin Megami Tensei series, and feature groups of young people who form contracts with demons in order to save humanity.

Devil Survivor Overclocked is an enhanced port of the original DS game, which adds new demons, full voice acting, and a playable epilogue to most of the endings. Devil Survivor 2 is its sequel, and features a similar setting, but with all new characters, lots of new demons, and fresh gameplay mechanics. Ghostlight have announced that both games will be receiving collector’s editions. While you’re waiting for the games to be released, you can read Rocket Chainsaw’s import review of the second game here.
