  • NEWS: Now that the PlayStation 4 has been officially announced, everyone wants to know more. What will the pricing be like for the games? What will the console look like? When will it be released. Jack Tretton, President of Sony’s American branch, has spoken out about these things, although he can’t reveal much at this point. Most importantly, he mentioned that the game pricing will stay the same as that of the PS3. He also called mobile devices “additive experiences”, as he doesn’t expect gamers to prefer them over the core experience that the home console provides. They’re just there to add to that experience.
  • NEWS: Speaking of the PlayStation 4, EA are very happy that it has finally been announced. They can’t wait to get the next generation started, and they’re confident that their “next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing”. EA are making transition their friend, and they’re viewing the next generation as a big opportunity, as you’d expect.
  • VIDEO: A new BioShock Infinite trailer has been released, called ‘City in the Sky’. It introduces us to some of the story’s more unusual elements.

  • NEWS: In case you’ve been wondering if your PC will be able to run the new Tomb Raider game, the minimum and recommended requirements have just been released. The good news is that the requirements are quite modest, with Crystal Dynamics keeping those with older PCs in mind. Tomb Raider will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on the 5th of March.
  • NEWS: There’s good news for those of you who have a PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony have just revealed the upcoming line up of free games for the service, and there’s some hot games on the list. You can look forward to playing Mass Effect 3, Dead or Alive 5 and Joe Danger 2 on your PS3. On your Vita, you’ll get to play the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, as well as Puddle.
  • NEWS: The senior producer on Watch_Dogs has spoken out about how the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will differ. It seems that Ubisoft Montreal are very impressed with Sony’s newly announced console, and its controller, since it offers a much more friendly development environment. The large amount of fast RAM has also proven popular, as you would expect.
  • VIDEO: Finally, NetherRealm Studio have released a new battle video for Injustice: Gods Among Us, based on fan feedback. Today we get to see a match between Aquaman and Cyborg.
