First Xbox 360 backwards compatible games announced

November 10, 2015

Microsoft has announced the very first batch of Xbox 360 titles that shall be backwards compatible on Xbox One. The games, which include the likes of Assassin’s Creed II, Borderlands, Fallout 3, Gears of War and Mass Effect – to name a few – shall be playable once the new Xbox One dashboard is released later this week. The full list of initial backwards compatible titles may be found here.

New titles shall be added to the backwards compatible list, such as Halo Reach, Halo Wars and Call of Duty: Black Ops, on a regular basis come December. The video below gives an idea of how backwards compatibility shall feature on Xbox One.
