E3 2017: Xbox Original titles coming to Backwards Compatible

June 12, 2017

Phil Spencer made the surprise announcement at Microsoft’s E3 2017 presentation that Xbox Original titles will be coming to the Xbox One via Backwards Compatible.

Spencer revealed that over 50% of Xbox One players have accessed an Backwards Compatible title.

Crimson Skies will be one of the first Xbox Original titles available for purchase, with Spencer noting that it was one fans had been very vocal about. Xbox Original titles will feature enhanced graphics, namely being optimised to be displayed better on today’s fancy TVs.

It’s unconfirmed how much the titles will cost, when they will be launched and if they will feature achievements.
