  • NEWS: Microsoft has posted its third-quarter results for 2013, with a reported revenue of $2.53 billion (56% over last year’s period). However, shipped 360 consoles are down to 8.9 million, a decrease from last year, and another potential signifier that this generation of consoles is reaching the end of its lifespan.
  • NEWS: Namco Bandai have let us know that Soul Calibur V will be available to download on Xbox Live Games on Demand on 23 April, and on PlayStation Store on 24 April. If you choose to side with the forces of Sony on this purchase, you can also grab a ‘Legendary Edition’, which includes an additional character, Dampierre, as well as downloadable costumes and armor sets. The regular game is AU $29.95, while the Legendary Edition will be AU $49.95.

  • NEWS: Kojima has tweeted an image of a poster, containing a variety of Snake and Big Boss’ past incarnations. Meanwhile, NeoGAF has also found a listing on the Korean Game Rating Board’s website for something called  Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection. Are they connected? Only top level government agents may know.
  • NEWS: Video-game adaptation Ace Attorney was released on Wednesday this week in stores across Australia on DVD. It’s also available on iTunes in both SD and HD for rent and purchase. Read our review on it here.
