With the recently announced WWE Super Show-down at the MCG and Team Little Big’s stealing the show at yesterday’s WWE Money in the Bank PPV, there’s plenty to talk about when it comes to professional wrestling, and this morning we’ve woekn to the announcement that the WWE 2k19 cover superstar is none other than The Phenomenal One: WWE Champion AJ Styles.
AJ Styles went head to head last night against Shinsuke Nakamura in another unforgettable bout, this time facing off in a Last Man Standing Match where both superstars gave it their all. AJ Styles eventually conquered Nakamura once again to retain his championship which he has now held for 223 days, solidifying himself as the face of SmackDown LIVE.

As you may have just read, WWE and 2K have also announced the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge, open to residents all around the world including Australia. The competition will run from the game’s launch in October until January, with the winner having the chance to win $1,000,000 when they face off against AJ Styles himself.
“With AJ Styles at the helm, we’re putting ‘Never Say Never’ to the ultimate test with WWE 2K19 and the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge,” stated Vice President of Marketing for 2K Chris Snyder. “Each year, we work to deliver the best in WWE product authenticity, gameplay, modes, customization and creative control, and this year will be no different for our passionate worldwide fan base. Buckle in and get ready, as we have some big surprises in store this year!”
WWE 2K18 launched in October last year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, Rocket Chainsaw reviewed it giving it three stars and saying, “While it is indeed the most expansive WWE 2K game to date, and there are many memorable moments to be had, it’s stops miles short of being as good as it should be.“
2K has also revealed what’s included in this year’s Deluxe and Collectors editions.
The WWE 2K19 Deluxe Edition will include the game in Deluxe Edition packaging, the season pass, pre-order digital content, as well as the collector’s edition digital content.
The WWE 2K19 Collectors Edition will include all of the above as well as premium packaging, unnamed physical collectables, and limited edition WWE SuperCard content.
Pre-ordering either editions will also give you early access and in-game bonuses beginning four days before the game’s launch. The early access will only be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
