2K Games today has released a bunch of details about the next upcoming WWE game including the reveal of the WWE 2K20 release date, official cover stars, 2K Showcase, MyCareer, Mixed Match Challenge, 2K Towers, Universe mode, and the new WWE 2K Originals which promises to offer plenety of post-launch gameplay and content.
The WWE 2K20 cover stars are none other than Becky ‘The Man’ Lynch, and Roman ‘The Big Dog’ Reigns, and the WWE 2K20 release date is October 22, 2019.

The 2K Showcase this year will be about the women of WWE, more importantly the four horsewomen. Focusing on Charlotte Flair, WWE 2K20 cover star Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley, you will follow their journey from humble beginnings to greatness.
The WWE 2K20 Collectors edition this year will be called the Smackdown! 20th Anniversary edition, celebrating 20 years of the Thursday night blue show that was built on the backs of The Rock and The Undertaker. It will come in an exclusive blue Smackdown! box and feature content available in the Deluxe edition such as Hulk Hogan, Chyna, $500 The Rock Shirt, Rock n’ Sock Connection Mankind, all WWE 2K20 originals, an accelerator, a MyPlayer Kickstart as well as some exclusive collector edition physical content such as some WWE Supercard Limited Edition cards, exclusive collectible acrylic artwork, and an autograph from one of three WWE legends (Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio or Edge).
Rocket Chainsaw reviewed WWE 2K19 at launch last year, giving it 3.5 stars and saying, “WWE 2K19 has the foundations for some pretty amazing things such as the return of Showcase mode and 2K Towers, but overall the physics and gameplay let the whole game down.”
