Watch Dogs Legion Ubisoft Forward Segment Reveals More Details

September 11, 2020

Fresh from the latest Ubisoft Forward event overnight, we’re dissecting the official Watch Dogs Legion Ubisoft Forward segment, taking a look at the different resistance fighters that you may come across in your travels through London.

The first part of the segment revealed that Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. AKA ‘Stormzy’ will be featured in the game as an underground rapper spitting tunes at the oppressors. Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr.’s fame continues to grow in the real world, and will bring a calmness to the tension between the resistance fighters of the fictional dystopian London and the privatised security force that controls the city after the police were defunded and abolished.

The segment then cuts into the new recruitment trailer revealing different classes that you can recruit such as a getaway driver, hacker, street artist, and beekeeper. While none of the classes were a surprise to us, we did learn that while you can recruit absolutely every NPC you come across in the open world, you might not be able to find and recruit the best team straight away, and even some of the better team members might have some serious downsides, such as old age or hiccups.

Rocket Chainsaw has been covering Watch Dogs Legion since its original reveal, and for more information you can check out some more Watch Dogs idiots, and the full (covered) map.

Finally, Ubisoft revealed that players will get access to the one and only Aiden Pearce from the original Watch Dogs game as a post-launch DLC, who will have his very own story arc. This opens the door for potential other characters joining the resistance in London. Sam Fisher? Jacob Frye? Vaas? We’re excited!
