During the Sonic 25th anniversary livestream, SEGA have just announced that the next Sonic title will be titled Sonic Mania and will release in the second quarter of next year.

Sonic Mania will be a return to the 2D sidescrolling action of yester-year and will be developed in collaboration between SEGA, Christian Whitehead, Headcannon and PagodaWest Games.

Sonic Mania will feature a range of new areas, reimagined classics and will allow you play as Sonic, Tail and Knuckles when it releases for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
