Smite coming to PS4

Sony and Hi-Rez have announced Smite will be coming to the PS4.

Smite is a free to play MOBA that has been available on PC since 2013 and was released on Xbox One last year. In the game players duke it out as different gods from Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese, Hindu and Norse mythologies. At the time of writing, there are over 70 playable gods in the game.

Smite PS4 is currently in a closed alpha testing, and there will be a closed beta test in March. Interested players can sign up for the beta by clicking here.

As with other versions of Smite, the gods Ymir, Thor, Neith, Guan Yu, and Ra will always be free to play as. There is also a free rotation of five other gods which changes regularly. Players can purchase gods not in the rotations using one of the two in-game currencies – Gems and Favour. You will also be able to purchase the Founder’s Pack which unlocks all current and future gods, as well as Ymir’s “C4codemon” skin, Ares “Soldier of Fortune” skin, 400 Gems and a key for instant beta access. PS Plus members will unlock an exclusive Kulkulkan “KuKu4” skin.
