Second Mafia: Definitive Edition Narrative Trailer Released

We’re now less than a month away from the release of Mafia: Definitive Edition, the final piece of the puzzle that is Mafia: Trilogy. A full remake of the original 2002 game, Mafia: Definitive Edition looks to bring that revered game up to modern standards for both old and new fans alike. Overnight, 2K Games revealed the latest look at the game, with a brand new narrative trailer released during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

The trailer gave us a look at Tommy Angelo as he learns the benefits he can reap from joining the Salieri family after leaving his cab driving behind. Plenty of narrative moments involving other characters like Don Salieri, Paulie and Frank were shown, as well as a whole bunch of gameplay and cinematic moments, grace the trailer. If you haven’t already seen the screenshots of the game in our preview which went live yesterday, the trailer gives you a great view on just how much better the game looks compared to its original release. We also have some brand new screenshots below, released specifically with this trailer.

Mafia: Definitive Editions releases on September 25th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as both a standalone purchase, as well as part of Mafia: Trilogy, which also includes Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition.
