2K Games Announces Mafia: Trilogy Collection

After a short teaser trailer was released last week, 2K Games has officially revealed Mafia: Trilogy, a collection of all three games released in the Mafia series so far. Similar to 2019’s Yakuza Remastered Collection, not all parts of Mafia: Trilogy will be available at once, but two thirds of the content is available right now and free for many owners of their original releases!

Available right now are the Definitive Editions of Mafia II and Mafia III. Both of these new editions include the original games, as well as all DLC content that was released for them since their original release. Mafia III: Definitive Edition is available right now and is a free upgrade for owners of Mafia III on PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition goes a little further and also includes brand new remastered graphics (our review of the title can be found here) which bring the game closer to today’s modern standards. Mafia II: Definitive Edition is available right now and is a free upgrade for owners of Mafia II on Steam.

Utilising a brand new engine the game looks better than ever, and its been expanded with brand new story content, new gameplay features, a re-recorded orchestral score and more. Mafia: Definitive Edition will be available on August 28th.
