Penny Arcade: Episode 3 Now Available

June 27, 2012

Zeboyd Games (developers of the popular Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World), have just released the much anticipated third episode of Penny Arcade’s Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness for PC on the Steam store. One-upping their original release date of July 10th, the game comes with bonus copies of both Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World (giftable if you already own them) if you purchase Penny Arcade before the 2nd of July.

Setting itself apart from the first two entires in the series, Penny Arcade’s Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is an old-school 2D RPG , featuring an 8-12 hour quest (with extra free content to be added in future). Along with being able to enlist the powers of the Tube Samurai, Hobo, Apocalypt, Dinosorcerer, Delusionist and more, it introduces “Help-Yu,” apparently the game industry’s first haiku-based help system. The game follows the adventures of Tycho, Gabe, and Tycho’s niece, Anne as they hunt down a mysterious figure. It’s currently available for $4.99 USD from the Steam store.
