RTX Australia Announced

Back in 2012 the fine folks at Penny Arcade announced something many Australian gamers never thought would happen; that they were bringing their premier video game expo PAX down under, being the first PAX to take place outside of the US. Little did we know at the time, that it would become a trend.

Rooster Teeth – the entertainment production company behind online sensations Red vs Blue and Achievement Hunter – have announced that they will be bringing their own convention, RTX, to Australia. It will be their first event outside of their home town Austin, since the first inaugural event back in 2011. .

Details are sparse at the moment but Rooster Teeth, alongside partners Hanabee and Supanova, have promised more information to be announced on Friday June 19th at 7PM AEST at the Supanova expo in Sydney.

Zach has dabbled in the video game industry in a number of ways over the past few years, from writting content for Gonintendo & Another Castle, to running the Society for Electronic Entertainment at the University of Melbourne. There is nothing more he loves than getting together, either online or offline with a bunch of fellow gamers, to yell at each other until we just want to punch one another in the throat while discussing video games.
