Okami Remaster on the way for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Capcom have confirmed Okami HD will be coming to Europe and the US on December 12. Like Japan, it will be released on PC and Xbox One digitally only, and PS4 both digitally and physically.

Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, has revealed (via Gematsu) that Okami HD will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC this year in Japan.

Originally released in 2006 (2007 for PAL regions) on PS2, Okami was later ported to the Wii and then PS3 consoles. The current generation remaster will apparently support 4K resolutions and include the loading screen mini-game that was omitted from the Wii and PS3 versions. Only the PS4 version will be available via physical media, though we suspect that will change for the eventual Western release. A limited edition version will also be available for the PS4.

Okami HD is expected to be released in Japan on PS4 and Xbox One on December 21, and PC on December 13. Capcom have yet to confirm a Western release.
