ORIGINAL STORY:

Japanese video game magazine Weekly Famitsu has revealed that a Super Monkey Ball game is set to grace the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Steam on October 31st this year in Japan.

Based on the screenshots, which we have included below, the game looks like a HD remake of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz which was released on the Wii in 2006 to mixed reception. For those unfamiliar with the franchise, in the games players tilt the stage to guide a monkey encased in a ball to the goal. Banana Blitz featured 100 levels, 50 mini-games and introduced boss battles to the franchise.

There’s no word yet on a Western release or if the game will appear on Xbox One. Famitsu are set to make a full reveal later this week when the latest issue of their magazine goes on sale in Japan.
