Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz Release Date & Info

Sega have announced that the latest Monkey Ball game, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz will be released for PlayStation Vita in Australia during October. The game will be available via both retail and digital download from the PlayStation Store. The usual apes will all be available, including AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon and Baby. Banana Splitz will feature over 100 stages, 8 mini-games (including Monkey Target and Monkey Bingo), as well as new Vita-specific functionality. This includes tilt functionality that will allow players to navigate stages in new ways, while the PlayStation Vita’s camera can be used to snap real-world objects to create custom stages to challenge your friends. Online multiplayer will also be making an appearance, allowing gamers to “go bananas at each other just about anywhere in the world”. Global leaderboards will also be available to access via GPS.
