Activision today uploaded a trailer revealing the existence of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered stand-alone edition. Fans have been begging for the game to get its own separate edition since it released as part of a special “Legacy” edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which launched in November 2016.
Rocket Chainsaw covered a possible leak/rumour of a stand-alone edition in September last year, which you can read here.
The new Modern Warfare Remastered stand-alone edition will launch as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 on June 27, 2017, presumably with a Windows PC and Xbox One version in the works for later this year.
