October 30, 2016

The Coalition has announced there will be several free Gears of War 4 DLC packs released in 2017, however they also announced there will be a Gears of War 4 DLC map pack dropping next month in November.

Today it was revealed that the first Gears of War 4 DLC pack will launch along with an update on November 1st for owners of the Gears of War 4 season pass, and become free for everyone a week later on November 8. It contain two fan-favourite maps from Gears of War 3: Checkout and Drydock. Checkout was also reworked and featured in Gears of War: Judgement.

Gears of War 4 is also currently running a Halloween promotion for players, including a gear pack and a new mode. The gear pack, named “Halloween Elite Pack” guarantees an epic or legendary card and can be purchased up until November 1. “Pumpkin Ball” is a dodge-ball-esque gameplay mode where respawn timers have been reduced to just one second, meaning gameplay is fast and somewhat scary. With two sets of Gears of War 4 DLC available, you have no excuse not to jump in!
