
- Pokemon Pokemaniacs (are they called that?) can get a new Shiny Palkia for their copies of Pokemon Black, White, Black 2 or White 2, at EB stores around Australia. Sure, it all sounds easy and reasonable, but you’ll never know the joy of a true Pokepheliac randomly finding a Shiny Pokemon.
- The sequel to the extremely popular Where’s My Water, imaginatively titled Where’s My Water? 2 has been released on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and Windows Phone Store. The big difference this time is the title is free-to-play, including over 100 levels, but offering hints and power-ups for purchase.
- A Game of the Year edition of Dishonored has been announced, coming on October 10 for AU $69.95 on PS3/360 and AU $59.95 on PC. This edition comes with all the DLC released so far, including ‘Dunwall City Trials’, ‘The Knife of Dunwall’, ‘The Brigmore Witches’ and ‘Void Walker’s Aresenal.’
- Alienware has updated their Aurora gaming desktop, with new options and features. The line now includes IvyBridge-E processors, with Intel i7 4 and 6 core options. The desktop is now also available with NVIDIA GeForce 700-series and AMD 8900-series graphics cards, and a new optional ALX chassis features a new thermal venting system, that claims to offer a smoother experience when gaming.
- Disney Interactive have released five new Toy Boxes for Disney Infinity, including ‘8 in 1 Arena’, ‘Classic Cruise’, ‘Spooky Castle Race’, ‘Lava Puzzler’ and ‘3 Little Houses’. All of these are available to download free of charge on PS3, 360 and Wii U.
- The Lame Game Marathon, a charity drive for UNICEF held each year, has announced the first game its victims will be tackling on October 26 – Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis. We are so sorry.
