Campo Santo have announced on their blog that the previously Playstation console-exclusive Firewatch will be coming to Xbox One in September. While there were some technical issues with the original release, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Firewatch and it’s great to see it coming to more platforms.

Along with the release of the Xbox One port, Campo Santo will also be releasing free updates that bring two brand new game modes to Firewatch. The first of these modes is the Firewatch Audio Tour, which is described by Campo Santo as one part scavenger hunt, one part museum tour and one part game dev work shop, is yet to be fully detailed.

The second mode, which will release first for Xbox One, is the brand new Free-Roam mode. In free-roam you will be able to live in the Shoshone with a full day/night cycle and explore, with brand new hidden secrets to be found.
