Ubisoft has today uploaded a cheeky live-action trailer to their German YouTube page, featuring the Far Cry 5 dog “Boomer”, and showing us what life is like in the eyes of a dog that is owned by a gamer.
The fun new Far Cry 5 Dog live-action trailer depicts a dog getting frustrated by the lack of attention the owner is giving it while they are enjoying playing Far Cry 5 in their living room. The owner realises the mistakes they were making and comes up with a cunning plan to buy a gun… for the dog… but it’s not what you think.

In Far Cry 5, four-legged friends are on call to help you hunt down the cult in Hope County, Montana. To whom Boomer trusts, he is a faithful companion. He also has a penchant for bringing all kinds of weapons!
This is the second live-action trailer this month for Far Cry 5, with Ubisoft revealing a trailer for a film that will launch alongside the game which includes actors that have been part of the game’s development such as the leader of the Eden’s Gate cult himself.
Far Cry 5 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC via Uplay on March 29, 2018. Stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for our review shortly after launch.
