E3 2017: Far Cry 5 Brings More Crazy Action Than Ever

June 13, 2017

While Far Cry 5 was officially announced last week, including a whole slew of the features we can expect from the final release, we had yet to see any significant amount of gameplay. Ubisoft have corrected this by revealing a brand new gameplay trailer for the game during their E3 2017 press conference that shows some of the utterly insane action we can expect to find.

The trailer focused on a few of the different changes that are coming with Far Cry 5, specifically AI and player companions and some of the new vehicles you can expect to find during your playthrough of the game. The game showed three AI companions, including a sniper, pilot and the real companion everyone wants, a dog companion called Boomer who can attack enemies and pick up their guns and bring them to you. The trailer also showed off some of air combat you can expect to take part in as you fly planes for the first time in a Far Cry game, as well as a tractor you can use to run over and grind enemies into bits.

Check out the trailers below while you wait for Far Cry 5 to release of PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2018.
