E3 2019: Destroy All Humans! remake announced

June 8, 2019

THQ Nordic has announced (via IGN) that a remake of the original Destroy All Humans! is in development and slated for release in 2020 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Destroy All Humans! has been a dormant franchise for the past ten years – the last game, Path of the Furon, was released in 2009 on PS3 and Xbox 360. While latter games in the franchise weren’t critically successful, it was the first two adventures that captured the hearts of gamers on the PS2 and original Xbox. In the games players played the role of Crypto, an alien who was on a mission to wipe out mankind and steal human DNA. The games saw players navigate sandbox environments and use Crypto’s physic powers and fancy weaponry to wreak havoc. And yes, you could even pilot Crypto’s flying saucer!
