E3 2017: New Sea of Thieves Gameplay Reveailed

Rare Studio’s upcoming pirate adventure, Sea of Thieves, got a new expanded gameplay showing at today’s Xbox E3 2017 press conference, showing off a bit more of what you can do when the game launches in early 2018.

Sea of Thieves is looking better than ever in 4K on Xbox One X, with the trailer showing a world and characters that are looking decidedly better than they did when originally revealed in past E3’s. The gameplay walkthrough shows a four-person crew who have found a riddle that promises to lead them to a mighty treasure, with the next step revealing after the current one is completed correctly. It shows off the range of experiences in the game, like sunken ships that can be explored underwater, caves that can be explored on islands for loot, AI enemies attacking you on islands and other player combatants who are there to steal your booty.

Give the gameplay walkthrough below a watch to get the best understanding yet of what you can do in Sea of Thieves.
