A couple of months back I wrote a feature about the old JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fighting game for the PlayStation 1 and at the end I expressed my desire for a new JoJo fighting game featuring characters from all the series. Amazingly, this came true, with the announcement of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle being made at the opening for an event set to mark the series’ 25th anniversary.

The game will feature characters from each of the manga’s seven parts and is being published by Namco Bandai and developed by CyberConnect2, the team behind Asura’s Wrath. This could explain the gorgeous visuals you see in the trailer below.

No date has been set yet, but the game looks like it will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
